Corrective treatment costs after treatment in Türkiye
Corrective treatment costs after treatment in Türkiye. Practical preparation for a Turkish legal claim when you live abroad.
Separate the original fee from additional loss
A refund of the first treatment fee and the cost of corrective care are different heads of claim. Record what remains usable, which work has not been provided and why further treatment is required. Do not simply add a full refund and an identical replacement cost without examining overlap.
What the second treatment plan should explain
Ask for findings, the affected area, the clinical reason for each proposed intervention and an itemised quote. A more expensive preferred material or unrelated cosmetic improvement is not automatically attributable to the first provider. Medical causation and legal liability need separate examination.
Evidence before revision
Keep original clinical records, imaging, product details, consent documents and dated photographs. A later opinion is more useful when it distinguishes the original condition from new findings. Necessary healthcare should not be delayed for paperwork; discuss documentary and judicial evidence preservation in parallel.
Illustrative example
An implant may remain usable while its restoration must be replaced. A quote for an entire new treatment package does not establish that the original clinic owes that total. The unused work, necessary correction and additional preference should be identified separately. This example is not an actual judgment or a promised award.
