Identify the exact restriction
Obtain the written order and distinguish an overseas travel prohibition from reporting duties, residence related measures and other conditions. The practical effect depends on the terms of the order. Release from a station or prison does not mean every restriction has ended. A lawyer should check the current measure and any subsequent decision changing it.
Plan travel using confirmed information
Tell the lawyer about your intended departure, residence abroad and known court dates. Employment, treatment and family documents may support an application, but a foreign residence permit does not independently override a Turkish order. Do not treat a booked flight or a verbal assurance as proof that the restriction has been lifted.
Apply for a change or removal
An application should explain why the measure should be reviewed and provide evidence relevant to its justification. The procedural route depends on the authority and stage of the case. A decision changing a condition should be checked for its scope and any remaining obligations; the defence can assess what further confirmation is needed before travel.
Continue to follow other conditions
Removing one measure may leave other conditions in force. Keep a copy of decisions and clarify reporting dates or attendance obligations. If a conflict arises between a court obligation and travel, seek a legal assessment in advance. A missed obligation can create additional procedural difficulties separate from the original allegation.

Common questions
Does bail mean I can leave Turkey?
Release and permission to travel are separate questions. Check the actual order and any current travel restriction.
Can my embassy remove the ban?
Consular assistance does not replace the Turkish authority’s decision on a judicial measure.
