A Turkish work permit refusal should be assessed against the stated reason and the employer's submitted file. A missing document, an unmet criterion and a restriction affecting the worker can require different responses. First obtain the full decision and notification record.
Legal requirements and important distinctions
Under Law No. 6735, an objection to a work-permit decision may be made to the Ministry within thirty days of notification. Judicial remedies after the objection decision require separate assessment. Residence and work permission are distinct; filing an objection does not automatically authorise the proposed employment. A changed employer or role may require a different application.
Documents and practical preparation
Compare the refusal with the job description, salary, qualifications, employer finances and applicable sector criteria. Identify what evidence directly addresses the reason. Keep the application reference and correspondence so that the sequence is clear. Examine whether an objection, corrected application or another route fits the facts without assuming that submitting the same file again will resolve the issue.

Build the objection with the employer
The Ministry’s objection period is thirty days from notification. Obtain the e-İzin application, refusal and notification record. Separate the employer’s business, financial and employment evidence from the foreign national’s identity, qualifications and permit records. Both sets should describe the same job, salary and proposed employment.
Address each refusal reason with an explanation and the relevant document through the current official procedure. A corrected deficiency may support a new application, while rejection of an objection may lead to judicial review. An objection alone does not authorise work. A change of employer or termination of the employment relationship must be assessed alongside the previous refusal and the person’s residence status.

Frequently asked questions
Can I start working while my refusal is being challenged?
A challenge alone does not provide work authorisation. Your current permit or applicable exemption must be assessed separately.
General information. It does not replace an assessment of your individual case.
